The Estate
Château Toutigeac sits on a historic site in the hills of Entre-Deux-Mers, where records of vines reach back centuries. The modern family story began when Charles Mallet purchased the estate in 1928. The Mazeau family developed it over subsequent generations, and Oriane Mazeau—trained in viticulture and enology—became manager of Vignobles Toutigeac in 2011.
Vineyard
Château Toutigeac covers about 40 hectares at roughly 110 meters elevation. The vineyard averages around 26 years of age and is planted on clay-limestone and clay-siliceous rises, with gentle south-east and south-west exposures. The estate produces red, dry white and rosé Bordeaux.
Sustainability
Cellar & People
The estate is built around generous, fruit-driven Bordeaux shaped by well-drained hillside soils and careful family management. The producer page keeps cellar details broad; individual wine pages can carry precise blend and élevage information when matched to current technical sheets.
